A turnip, in Japanese「カブ」“kabu”, is the protagonist of this artwork.
Like vegetables that grow patiently day after day, you have to live improving yourself but “Always with a big heart” (「いつもまあるいこころで。」“Itsumo maarui kokoro de.”), always ready to accept life's challenges with optimism and open-mindedness.
