We will explore the fascinating world of SHODŌ, the traditional Japanese Calligraphy Art with a thousand-year history!
Master of Shodō Kōji Takano will teach you how to write KANJI in a totally different way: follow your heart to create a very unique piece of art.
Kanji are not just signs, but characters that assume multiple significance in different contexts. The meaning of each kanji increases, changes, and gets new nuances over time.
You cannot simply learn to write kanji in the correct sequence, you have to expand your imagination and creativity to shape your personal style.
You will focus on a single character chosen by Takano sensei and, following his advice, you will transform it into something exclusive.
At the end, you will practice writing your name and your favorite words in kanji.
