Advantages of One-on-One Lesson
▶ In this one-on-one lesson, the teacher will be at your complete disposal to transcribe the words and concepts you want to write.
▶ Since it is a private experience, you will be free to confide your feelings that you cannot confess during a group lesson.
▶ Do not worry about your surroundings. It will be only you and the teacher, relax and feel free to be yourself!
▶ We will ask you the day before what you would like to write in order to arrange an ad hoc lesson in advance.
The teacher will improvise an illustration of your name on colored paper and give to you as a gift After the experience is over, it will be sent to you via postal service.

A first approach to the basic Calligraphy techniques where we will practice drawing circles and lines exerting more or less pressure to create vitality.
④ “Character of the Day”
“Character of the Day” is a kanji chosen by Takano sensei and inspired by a seasonal theme or a particular mood. The master will explain you the meaning of the selected kanji and its cultural background in Japan.
⑤ Write Your Favorite Words in Kanji
We will practice writing your name and your favorite words in Japanese sharing our thoughts and emotions.
⑥ Write Your Name in Kanji
Takano sensei will convert your name in Japanese. Then, following his advice, we will transform it into something exclusive.

What you will need① Writing brush
③ Paints, crayons, oil pastels or colored pencils
④ Small plate for the ink
⑤ Heavy-weight watercolor paper, copy paper, drawing paper or kent paper
(in Japan there is a 24.3x33.3 cm paper specially used for calligraphy called hanshi)
⑦ Red or colored pen for the signature
(instead of rakkan, Japanese personal stamp on red ink)
